Well it’s not a day we saw coming, but we can still be impressed! IHS Automotive recently made a bold claim about the future of hatchbacks in the United States – where they see a much smaller fan base than in other countries – that predicts the rise of sales to well surpass the 1 million mark by the end of the decade. Automakers such as Honda and Chevrolet are already planning for the trend to hit the states, and are investing in bringing the hatchback models to their practical and space-savvy American consumers.
